Updates needed
While I generally love Wallpaper guides, this one is out of date. We showed up at RBC for a morning coffee only to find out that the store had been shut down. The app suggests that it has been updated in 2012. This is clearly not the case. Wallpaper will need to update its guides annually if it wishes to maintain its following.
No localization and not so fresh
This app, contrary to other wallpaper apps, has no localization option. In other words, it is pretty useless. The selection of spots is good, but could be refreshed: NYC is changing fast! Dont look for the new Whitney museum and the most recent cool places. They are not in the latest version.
Okay, but not great.
I thought this app would be a little bit more detailed. - in every chapter, there are only 5-12 examples about places/restaurants/hotels in NYC - only the half of them had detailed descriptions... + favorable is the chapter NEIGHBOURHOODS - with the interesting quarters of NYC + I like the fact that you can read the adress of the special place and the app switches automatically to Google Maps to see how to get there
Wallpaper: New York
Dont waste your money on this app. There is nothing useful here. The only hotels listed cost $500+ and the few restaurants and boutiques are also expensive. No maps, no galleries, nothing. Even the skyline photo is just midtown with only seven obvious landmarks highlighted. I can get more information from a newspaper or the guy standing by the subway.
Very Disappointing
I just paid and downloaded the app, very disappointed in how little content there is, in a city like New York you only have 5 "landmarks"! I dont think a beautiful interface is enough to make up for lack of content. I would like to get a refund and delete the app if possible
